Throughout her 72 years as a member of the Holiness Church, Doris was a familiar face at services and revivals. She celebrated her faith passionately, creating an inviting atmosphere for fellow congregants. Her family recalls her joyous spirit and how she relished every opportunity to spend time together, whether through church activities or family gatherings.
Doris Mae is survived by her four children: James Larry Cash, Steven Cash (Marva), Janet Cash (Gary) Tucker, and Geneva Cash (Edward) Semanek. The family is enriched by her legacy, which includes twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, highlighting her as a central figure in the family tree. In addition, she is remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews who felt the warmth of her affection.
Farewell Arrangements
The family will hold a viewing on Friday, June 6, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home. A service to honor Doris Mae will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel, officiated by Bro. Patrick Price and Bro. Don Hornbuckle. Doris will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery after the service.
